I am a writer, editor, and project manager driven by a passion for storytelling and the many ways it shapes our lives and allows us to build connections. We write ourselves into existence through the power of narrative, whether we’re creating social media posts, wedding vows, or books.

I am currently the managing editor at Annick Press, an independent trade publisher in Toronto, Canada. I have also held editorial positions at Penguin Random House Canada and House of Anansi Press. 

I have an MA in Modern Literature from Ryerson University, My graduate work explored the relationship between mind science and the ways we write ourselves into being through autobiography. I also have a Bachelor of Humanities and English from Carleton University, have completed substantive and copy editing courses from Ryerson University’s publishing programme, and am certified to teach English as a second language.
